Herb Alpert's Tijuana Brass 'The Beat of the Brass' Vinyl - P-4146

One of Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass's most exuberant outings, The Beat of the Brass arrived in 1968 riding the crest of the group's commercial peak — and delivered in full. Breezy, brass-forward, and irresistibly rhythmic, the album topped the Billboard 200 and spawned the hit This Guy's in Love with You, the first number-one single ever written by Burt Bacharach and Hal David. A quintessential piece of late-'60s easy listening Americana.
